Pennsylvania, with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
He is widely recognized for his high-energy performance style and his long-
standing residency at various clubs and radio stations in the
region.
Early Career and Musical Roots
Beginnings as a Rapper: Before becoming a DJ, Cap Cee spent 15 years as an
MC. During this time, he opened for major acts such as The Fugees.
Television Appearance: In the summer of 2000, he gained national visibility as
a guest VJ on MTV, appearing on shows like TRL and DFX, where he
interviewed hip-hop icons including Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg.
Transition to DJing: He officially began his DJ career in 2002 at the now-
defunct club Banana Joes in Allentown. Despite having little prior experience
with turntables at the time, he quickly mastered the craft and became the club's
resident DJ.
Radio and Professional Achievements
Radio Career: Cap Cee’s radio journey started in 1997 on Lehigh University's
WLVR with "The Hip Hop 101 Show". He later became a well-known on-air
personality for B104 (iHeartRadio), hosting slots from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Opening for Major Acts: Throughout his career, he has opened for a wide range
of international artists, including L.L. Cool J, Nelly, Ludacris, the Backstreet Boys, NKOTB,
Jason Derulo, and Morgan Wallen.
